Ok, the date is July 8, 2008 and I have been losing the battle against the scale. Today seems a little different than all the other times I have said I would lose weight. First of all, I just emptied my closet of all the ugly old looking cheap clothing that I have bought to cover my weight gain. I saved all the size 8 and size ten cute pants that I used to wear and put them in a bin in my closet as a reminder. I also saved my size 6 jeans and dresses that I loved 4 years ago, but can't seem to fit even a leg in. All the clothes are in 4 trash bags ready for Goodwill.
I have researched tons of exercises and realize that sitting here at the computer isn't getting them done. And although my least favorite thing to do is work out, I have to become committed to it and make it enjoyable. I also need to do 45 minutes instead of 30 since 30 doesn't do much.
I have gained so much weight in the past 6 years, and in the past few months as well. Yo yo diets make me gain even more. I have always blamed time as the issue but it is just LAZINESS.
Ok, here it is...
As of today, I weigh 158, my highest weight ever
I will be committed to eating healthy, and limiting my carb intake
I will go to the gym DAILY for one hour at least
I will limit my alcohol intake to two beverages when we go out, and drink tonic water thereafter
(that one is going to be a tough one!!)
My goal weight is is 138
My Goal date is September 8th
My reward will be a shopping spree with cute clothes that are for a 28 year old instead of clothes just to cover myself up.
